Cellgevity can be taken alongside regular medications. A patient should not stop his/her regular medications when starting Cellgevity. Regularly review with a doctor or healthcare provider who will adjust regular medications over time as needed. For best results, take Cellgevity at least an hour before or after other medications. - Question: Are there any medications I should not use Cellgevity with at the same time?
Cellgevity is fine to be taken with most medications, with a few exceptions.
a) Chemotherapy or Radiation Treatment for Cancer – Stop Cellgevity 48 hours before treatment and start again 48 hours after treatment, unless your doctor recommends otherwise.
b) Warfarin/Blood thinners – Avoid Cellgevity or use only a small dose (1 capsule per day to start) and monitor regularly with your doctor. Glutathione helps to oxygenate the blood, so there is a risk of the blood getting too thin which may be an issue if there is bleeding, unless a doctor is regularly monitoring the patient.
c) Malaria Medication – Suspend the use of Cellgevity when you are taking medication for malaria, to allow the medication to work, and start again once you have finished your anti-malaria treatment.
d) Avoid Acetaminophen or Paracetamol and medications containing same as they will mop up (chelate) the cysteine/glutathione thus reducing the activity of products containing RiboCeine. - Question: Does Cellgevity have Side Effects? Cellgevity does not have any known side effects, Because glutathione helps the body to detoxify, about 10 to 15% of people may notice a detoxification effect.
Detoxification effects may include body aches and pains, flu-like symptoms, headache, fatigue, sleep difficulties, constipation, diarrhea, frequent urination, itchy skin, pimples, hunger and brain fog.
Drinking a lot of water will help flush out toxins, and the effects should pass after 3 or 4 days. If the detoxification is too uncomfortable, they can reduce the Cellgevity dose to 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening, or even one capsule per day for 3 or 4 days before gradually reverting to the recommended dose of 2 capsules morning and 2 capsules in the evening.
